Developed and published by Ubisoft, Watch Dogs Legion is the third main entry in the open world sci-fi series. Set in near-future London, players are tasked with recruiting NPCs in the open world in an effort to rebuild DedSec and restore its reputation. Along the way, you can also make use of your phone to capture some photos as well. Here’s how to take pictures in Watch Dogs Legion.
Taking Pictures in Watch Dogs Legion
Not to be confused with the in-game photo mode, Watch Dogs Legion also offers players the ability to take pictures with the in-game phone, including selfies. This is a great way to take cool photos of the cityscape without having your character in frame, and it’s actually also required for some missions and optional objectives.
To take pictures, press and hold up on the d-pad, then press the square button on PS4 or X button if you’re on Xbox One. This will prompt your character to use their phone as a camera, and you’ll be able to move around and zoom in on objects, and you can press the R2 or RT button to snap a photo.
You can also press the square/X button again to make use of the front facing camera, and this will allow you to take a selfie with your character in frame instead. When doing this, you can press the R1 or RB button to get your character to pose or use a gesture to make the selfie look a little more interesting.
Finally, while holding up on the d-pad, you can also hit the circle or B button to check your gallery and take a look at all of the photos you’ve taken in the game so far.
Every so often, you might come across missions that require you to make use of the camera to take pictures of important pieces of data or items in order to progress.
