Today Bandai Namco announced a release date for the newest addition to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster, Master Roshi.

Everyone’s favorite old per… ahem, island-dwelling senior citizen is is going to join the cast of the game on September 18.

Those who have the season pass will be able to enjoy his antics earlier, on September 16.

On top of that, we also get a look at his gameplay, which never hurts. You can watch it below.

Master Roshi will be the third character coming season 3, which started with Kefla, continued with Ultra Instinct Goku, and will have two more fighters who have not been revealed just yet.

It’ll be interesting to see which additional Dragon Ball heroes Bandai Namco will pull out of the hat to complete the season, and if there’ll be another afterward for this rather successful fighting game.

Recently, Bandai Namco also shared the details of the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ National Tournament.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.  It sold over five million copies as of May 2020.
