How to Beat Guardian in Battletoads
Just as you think Act One is over, the toads will begin playing rock, paper, scissors, and the Guardian will coming smashing through the ceiling. You’ll have to continually dodge his fists that come through the roof.
It’s easy to know where his fists are going to land because the ceiling will shake and dust will fall where the fist is about the enter. It’s important to note you can’t hurt him with regular attacks.
You will have to kick the radioactive barrels in the middle of the room at him to do any sort of damage. Throughout the fight, the Guardian will summon eyeball mobs, which can easily be disposed of with a couple of regular attacks.
Using Zitz will allow you to dodge the ceiling attacks easier and is the best toad for this job. Of course, you may use whoever works best for you, but Zitz has the speed for the job.

- Dodge his punches.
Make sure to look for the ceiling shakes to know where he’s going to punch next.
- Defeat mobs.
Eyeball mobs will spawn in so be sure to take care of them with normal attacks.
- Kick barrels .
Kick the radioactive barrels in the middle of the room to damage the Guardian.
- Rinse and repeat.
Proceed to keep doing the above things until the Guardian is defeated.
