All Killstreaks in Modern Warfare Remastered

Recommended Videos

MWR is currently one of the free game available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4, letting you jump back into some of the best maps Call of Duty has ever seen. It’s quite the departure from the new titles, though. Here’s everything you need to know about what all the killstreaks are in Modern Warfare Remastered.

What the Killstreaks Are

Unlike recent Call of Duty games, or really any since when Modern Warfare 2 introduced the likes of the nuke, Modern Warfare Remastered only features three killstreaks. They are:

  • UAV Recon (Three Kills) – Shows up enemies as red dots on the mini-map in the top left corner, as long as they’re no using silencers or a UAV blocking perk.
  • Airstrike (Five Kills) – Send three powerful planes over a specific part of the map, dropping explosives.
  • Helicopter (Seven Kills) – Send a helicopter to fly above the map, automatically targeting enemies.

That’s as far as it goes for killstreaks in Modern Warfare Remastered. You and the rest of the lobby will be notified when you get to any multiple of five kills beyond seven, but there are no additional killstreaks.

How to Use Them

When you have any of the three killstreaks available, you will be notified by the announced and a message on the screen. Then, to use it, you need to press right on the d-pad.

For the UAV and helicopter, it’s automatic, but you need to choose a location for the airstrike with the right thumbstick. Do note, though, that killstreaks do not stack in Modern Warfare Remastered, so you need to use them quickly.

That’s everything you need to know about what all the killstreaks are in Modern Warfare Remastered. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
