All Sunny Steps Chest Spawn Locations in Fortnite
Fortnite Season 8 is finally here, bringing with it a slew of new content. Following the new battle pass, there’s also a bunch of new weapons, cosmetics, and features like lava vents to make use of, a volcano being this season’s centerpiece. A new location birthed from the Volcano is Sunny Steps, ripe with chests for the plundering. Here’s all Sunny Steps chest spawn locations in Fortnite Season 8.
The toasty shores of the actually lava-laden Sunny Steps can be found at the new volcano section of Fortnite’s map, towards the north-east. It’s here you’ll be hunting for yet more loot, the locations of each chest’s spawn location, including screenshots, is outlined below.
Sunny Steps Chest Spawn Locations
- Right at the top of the tallest pyramid, under the roof, you’ll find one chest. The pyramid is the one in the south west of the area.
- Underneath that large pyramid, there’s one in a pool of water, on a table. It’s in front of the mask waterfall.
- Right at the bottom level, under the biggest pyramid, there’s one on a table under an archway.
- Same as above, but on the southern most side of the largest pyramid.
- You’ll find one at the top of the smaller pyramid north of the large one.
- Between the N and Y in Sunny, inside the small building there, you’ll find one on a table between two ammo boxes.
- Inside the room furthest north east of Sunny Steps, on the T, you’ll find another chest.
- On the level down from the top on that same building, you’ll find one on the southern end of the walkway.

- And another on the western end.
- In the smaller building on the east side of the town, there’s one in the upper level, on a table between two ammo boxes.
- In the building in the middle of Sunny Steps that has the sun dial on the roof, there’s a chest. You’ll have to build up to get it from the platform though, or break in through the roof.
- In the middle of the southern area of the town, there’s one on the top of the pyramid, just east of the tallest one.
