Red Dead Online transitions Red Dead Redemption 2 into an equally refined multiplayer experience, complete with all the same customization and survival mechanics. Here’s how to change hair & customize character appearance in Red Dead Online.

During the opening stages of your Red Dead Online experience, you’ll have the option to create your own character, adjusting his/her appearance to your preference. Later, you’ll have access to a range of different outfits as you would in the single-player game, too.

Don’t worry, though, that isn’t your last chance to change their look; you can also tweak your character’s appearance during the game, too, which is a process that virtually identical to Red Dead Redemption 2. To change hair & appearance, simply visit a barber, which is represented on the map with a scissors icon.

Once you arrive it’s just a case of walking on up to the barber and choosing which option you’d like to alter. You can, of course, trim hair to a certain length or alter the style altogether, and the same applies to facial hair.

Elsewhere, different outfits can be purchased from general stores or tailors, ranging from three-piece suits to suitably rough-and-tough-looking cowboy outfits, so there’s plenty of choices to set your character up to your preference.
