How to Start Big Battles in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
One of the most exciting features of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the new big battles available for players to take part in. Whereas in previous games, the maximum number of enemies you’d encounter was never more than roughly a dozen, these will pit you against hundreds of enemies. Letting you feel like you’re definitely from Sparta. This new feature is sure to be a popular activity in Odyssey so players might be wondering how to find themselves in the middle of a giant war. Here’s how to start big battles in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Let’s get this out of the way: you don’t start these whenever you want. Instead, they happen as a result of your actions in the way your story plays out. They happen at the end of a quest line that sees Kassandra or Alexios embracing their mercenary nature where they will choose a side — Sparta or Athens — to fight on behalf of.
Regardless of which side you pick, the first thing you’re going to need to do is weaken the nation’s strength.
To weaken the nation strength, you’ll be tasked with taking out the nation leader (although you don’t have to). To do this, you must complete smaller tasks that will weaken the nation leader’s hold on the area.
Some of those tasks include destroying army supplies, eliminating enemy soldiers and more. Each of these task will see the nation leader grow more open for an attack. Once you’re ready, attack and kill the nation leader. Then, report back to your general.
After doing that, it’ll be time for a 300 style war that you can participate in.
