Spider-Man for the PS4 wouldn’t be a real Spider-Man game without a bunch of villains in it, right? Well, one of the first boss fights you’ll have in the game features the iconic mattress looking baddie, Shocker. You’ll face him twice, actually. Here’s how to beat Shocker in Spider-Man for the PS4.

In the first fight, you’re simply chasing him through the city. Destroying literally everything around. It’s pretty awful for Manhattan, ain’t it?

Anyway, you just need to swing around and catch up to him. Once you’re close enough, you’ll get the command to launch yourself at him and beat him down. He’s fairly easy, just do this three or four times and he’ll be down for the count. Be sure to pummel him when you get the chance.

What you do need to watch out for are his attacks while you’re chasing. Be sure to press Circle to dodge when the senses start tingling.

For his second fight, you’re actually on a battlefield within the bank. While there, you need to use the surrounding environment a lot. Jump over the shockwaves that strike the ground, Circle dodge out of the way of the beams. Use your web a ton to stun him so you can pummel him some, too.

When the time is right, you’ll need to L1 and R1 the environment to bring the ceiling down on him.

That’s how you do it! That’s how you beat Shocker in Spider-Man for the PS4. Easy, huh? Sit tight, it will get tougher.
