How to Get Into the FIFA 19 Beta

Recommended Videos

With the full release of FIFA 19 just a couple of months away, EA Sports is beginning its testing phases before millions of people get their hands on the final product. You may still be engrossed in the ongoing Futties Promo in FIFA 18’s Ultimate Team mode, or working through part two of Alex Hunter’s story, but you might be wondering if you can be part of the testing for the next game by playing the beta. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get into the FIFA 19 beta.

EA Sports is usually quite quiet about FIFA betas. They tend to run during the middle of August, with you getting access to one of the game’s modes before they open them all up, aside from the story mode, towards the end of the beta period. This is likely the same case for the FIFA 19 one, but until the codes are sent out, the details cannot be known for sure.

To get access to the FIFA 19 beta, you need to be signed up to receive emails from EA and keep your fingers crossed. The studio will pick players from those that have signed up, and they will be sent a code for the platform they play on. They send out all the codes that they have during the first week of August, so you will not be able to get a code any other way. All you can do is sign up for the community emails and hope that you are one of the players that are picked. As soon as the FIFA 19 beta codes are sent out, we will update you here so that you can check for yourself.

Update: As of 12pm ET on Aug. 8, EA Sports has begun sending out beta codes. It will go live at 1pm ET on Aug. 10.
