No Man’s Sky NEXT is beefing up the game with a hefty amount of new content. Aside from the highly-anticipated multiplayer patch, players can look forward to more community missions and events. Another new addition coming to No Man’s Sky NEXT is the Rewards Shop, which will be filled with all sorts of nifty materials and items you can use on your adventure. The shop uses a different type of currency in the game, so you can’t use your Units or Nanite Clusters to pay. As of right now, we’re not entirely sure how to get the Rewards Shop currency in No Man’s Sky NEXT as the shop isn’t live at this moment. Here’s what we do know:

Alongside the new quests and missions are some “live events,” which will require players to work together and achieve community goals in No Man’s Sky NEXT. These milestones will vary per mission, so you probably won’t be doing the same repetitive task with others. Once you do end up reaching these goals, you and the other players will be rewarded with the currency that can be used in the Rewards Shop.
