How to Increase Brightness in State of Decay 2

Recommended Videos

You’ll have to keep your senses sharp in State of Decay 2 if you hope to survive for very long, and of those senses, few are quite as important as your sight. Though the game can present dark visuals in order to increase the sense of dread and ambiance, you may find yourself wishing that things were made just a little clearer – one way to do this is by increasing the brightness.

To do this, press start and go to the Game Settings option, then select Visual. From here, you can adjust the Gamma option to your satisfaction. Turning it right up will yield the brightest visuals. Once you have gotten it to the preferred level, you can return to the game and see if it works for you.

Alternatively, if you’re finding games in general to be too dark, you can always adjust the brightness settings on your display/monitor. Different monitors will have different brightness ratios, so keep this in mind before boosting the brightness to its fullest.
