Just as in other RPGs, Kingdom Come Deliverance features a progression system in which players level up their character. With every two or three levels, players are then granted points that can be used to learn various perks. Many stats perks counteract each other and cannot be used in tandem, forcing you to make tough decisions as to what sort of a character Henry is in your playthrough. For example, the Brute perk grants you a +2 Strength bonus, but a -1 penalty on Charisma and Speech. If you opt for this perk, you won’t be able to combine it with Ken, Golden Tongue, Juggler, or Cloak and Dagger, which grant different combinations of stat boosts and penalties.
