How to Play Multiplayer in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Recommended Videos

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp takes the life sim fun of the series and crams it onto your smartphone. You’ll need to catch fish, gather fruit, decorate your campsite, and make friends with the animals if you’re going to succeed at making an awesome place to hang. Of course, with Animal Crossing being all about social interaction, many players are wondering if the game has multiplayer and how to play with friends.

First, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp does have multiplayer, but if you’re wanting to play with friends, you’ll need to exchange friend codes. To find out your friend code, you want to go to the ‘More’ option at the bottom of the screen and select Friends. Select Add Friend and then ‘Share Your ID.’ Have your friends enter this code and you’ll then be able to visit one another’s towns easily from your friends list whenever you want. You can also link your Twitter or Facebook accounts and easily go through your friends list, adding people.

Other players and friends may occasionally visit your campsite. If you want to find out more about them, simply tap on them and you’ll be able to see their campsite and what they have in their market box. You also have the option to send a player Kudos this way, particularly handy for that stretch goal.

Unfortunately, if you wanted to actively walk around with your friend, that’s just not possible in this multiplayer.

And that’s all you need to know to play multiplayer in Animal Crossing’s mobile venture. For more on Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
