Update: With the second weekend kicking off, Sledgehammer has announced that a new medium-sized map, Aachen, will be available for fans to try out in CoD WW2’s beta.

PS4 owners can finally jump into the fast-paced action of the CoD WW2 beta. Bringing a selection of modes, guns, equipment, and divisions, this is a limited slice of the full experience you’ll get when the game releases in November. As such, many players will be wondering just how many maps there are in the CoD WW2 beta.

Players will be able to play through three brand-new maps in the CoD WW2 beta. According to a post over on Activision’s site, these are “inspired by iconic locations” from WW2. The three different locales you’ll be fighting at are: Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar.

These three give you a good range of both close-combat skirmishes and larger, more open maps with plenty of nooks and crannies for snipers.

You’ll be able to play all three in all of the core game modes included in the beta. These are Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. The new War game mode will not be playable across multiple maps in the CoD WW2 beta.
