How to Start New Game Plus in Horizon Zero Dawn

Recommended Videos

With the arrival of Horizon Zero Dawn’s latest update, players now have the option of experiencing the game’s story all over again in New Game Plus. This time around, however, players will have access to all of the skills and equipment they had from their previous playthrough. Here’s what you need to do to start New Game Plus and embark on the adventure all over again in Horizon Zero Dawn.

First, load up your save file that you want to start New Game Plus with. Once the game has loaded up, simply press the Options button on your DualShock 4 and look for the ‘Create New Game + Loadout’ option. As long as you have the update installed, this should be available for you to select. Select this and confirm your decision and the game will place you outside of Aloy’s cabin before you go looking for Ros.

It’s worth noting that Horizon Zero Dawn’s New Game Plus mode has its own save slots, so you don’t have to worry about overwriting your previous progress if you’re still trying to clear up some trophies on that save.
