Pokemon Moon Fossils – Plume and Armor

Recommended Videos

Pokemon Moon has its own fossils, different from those of Sun. Rather than the Cover and Skull fossils, Moon players will be picking up the Plume and Armor Fossils.

Where to Get a Plume Fossil and Armor Fossil

These will be found on the second island of your Alolan journey. You’ll want to make your way to KoniKoni City, and then find the jewelry shop. Inside is a woman who sells fossils, each for 7,000 Poke Dollars. You can buy both the Plume and Armor fossils from her, rather than having to choose one over the other.

What to Do With Your New Rock

As always, your fossil is useless until you take it to a research center that can turn it into a living Pokemon. Head over to Route 8 and find the side path leading to the Fossil Center. The man with an RV, should you speak to him, will turn your rock into a new Pokemon friend.

Plume Fossil

From the Plume Fossil, you’ll get Archen, a Rock/Flying type originally from Black and White.

Armor Fossil

The Armor Fossil will turn into Shieldon, a Rock/Steel type originally found in Diamond and Pearl.
