Ace Attorney 6 Is in the Works and Coming to the West

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Capcom is working on the latest entry in the Ace Attorney series called Ace Attorney 6. According to Famitsu, Ace Attorney 6 will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS and will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show event, taking place between Sept 17-Sept 20.

While details about the new game are lacking, Kotaku, the site that originally translated the article, revealed that Ace Attorney 6 will include a new gameplay system “that enables quicker gameplay.”

Better yet, Capcom also revealed in an interview with Shacknews that Ace Attorney 6 will also be coming to the West. In the interview the company said that, “Ace Attorney 6 (working title) will be coming to the west. We’ll have more information on the Western release soon.”

The last entry in the main series to be released outside Japan was called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies and it was released with an M rating on 2013.
