The Yarn Yoshi amiibo Gets a Mega Evolution

If you thought the standard Yarn Yoshi amiibo were unbearably cute, just wait until you get a load of the newly announced Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo. While Mega Yarn Yoshi will have the same functionality as the standard Yarn Yoshi amiibo in Yoshi’s Woolly World, the superiority of this big, cuddly version is undeniable.

Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe have both given release dates and price points for Mega Yarn Yoshi as well. He will be available in North America from Nov. 15 for $40, and hits European store shelves Nov. 27 for €40. Even at those mega prices, it’s likely that pre-orders will go quickly, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re interested in grabbing one.

Yoshi’s Woolly World is slated to launch in North America Oct. 16 for $49.99, while a bundle including the standard-size green Yarn Yoshi amiibo will also be available for $59.99. The pink and blue Yarn Yoshi amiibo (as well as the standalone green version) will also hit stores Oct. 16 at $16.99 apiece.
