Based on the comic book, Powers, the new PlayStation show follows the story of Chicago homicide detectives who solve cases that involve people with extraordinary abilities…err, powers. The show stars District 9‘s Sharlto Copley as Christian Walker, and Susan Heyward of The Following, who plays Deena Pilgrim in the show.

Powers was announced for PS users during Sony’s E3 conference last year, to which we compared the show to a mix between Law & Order and Heroes. Because it’s being shown on Youtube for free, there’s no reason not to give the show a try.
