The new Halloween event in Overwatch has tons of challenges for you to complete to unlock cool voice lines, and charms and even get extra XP for your battle pass. However, there are only 14 days to complete them all and some of the challenges are way harder than others. Especially if you factor in teammates who may not be on the same page as you. How to “Witness All 7 Banchee Moments in a Single Run” in Overwatch 2
A lot of the challenges available are pretty straightforward and can be completed directly by you. However, Ominous Portant is different in that it requires your whole team not to mess it up. If there’s one thing we know about Overwatch 2 it’s how unreliable teammates can be, especially if you play with strangers.
Once you are past the tavern section towards the beginning of the event play until you need to find a gate key. DO NOT pick up the key and make sure you explain to your teammates that if they want the challenge they need to avoid it as well. If you pick up the key before completing the challenge then it becomes impossible and you will have to wait until the next run.
During this section Banshee Moira appears semi-randomly to different players while wandering. It seems there are also small wisps that you can touch to trigger an event as well. You or your teammates need to trigger seven events to get the challenge completed. The good part is that if one person completes an event then everyone gets the credit so don’t be afraid to spread out.
Once you get the message that the challenge has been completed, you are good to go, so pick up the key and head on to the next section. As we mentioned earlier, this challenge really relies on your team not jumping straight for the gate key. We found the best success by explaining what we were attempting to do in chat before reaching this section. As with every part of Overwatch 2 communication is one of your most powerful tools.
