Best Skills & Attacks for Every Character in Gotham Knights

There are many skills & abilities to utilize in Gotham Knights.

With the arrival of Gotham Knights, many had hoped to fulfill that Arkham-sized hole Rocksteady left us with following the release of Arkham Knight in 2015. And while this entry hasn’t been that for many, one new and interesting aspect has been the inclusion of four playable main characters. So with that, we’re here to discuss the best skills and attacks for every character in Gotham Knights.

Skills & Attacks Guide for Each Character in Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights gives us the opportunity to switch between Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood — which you’re able to do at will as long as you’re back at the Belfry. Each of them give us the chance to experience the open world in their own way, and depending on the situation, whichever special ability they possess can be of great use. So let’s get into it, shall we?

Batgirl

With her cape, Batgirl can glide through Gotham City and put you right back into those good ‘ol Arkham days. Her hacking boost can be incredibly beneficial to players looking to get through some of the stealthier missions the game includes, but she doesn’t stop there. Here are the skills and momentum abilities we like the most.

Skills:

  • Digital Ghost — Electronic devices, such as sensors and cameras, cannot detect Batgirl.
  • Health Regen+ — When outside of combat, Batgirl’s health automatically regenerates up to 40%.
  • Fear Takedown — Ambush Takedown inflicts Fear in nearby enemies while Critical damage and Critical chance increases by 15% for 10 seconds.

Momentum Abilities:

  • Adrenaline Surge — Increases Batgirl’s damage, Critical chance, Critical damage, and Defense by 20% and Elemental Effect build up by 50% for 12 seconds.
  • Drone — Batgirl calls her drone, healing allies and shooting nearby enemies for a short period of time (30 seconds).

Nightwing

If you’re looking for smooth combat, Nightwing is the way to go. From his batons to his evasiveness, few combat situations are smoother than ones involving the acrobat. Additionally, he’s got some pretty useful skills and abilities as well.

Skills:

  • Elemental Smart Darts — Darts inflict Elemental Effect build up on enemies or heal allies over time. So if you’re looking for co-op fun, Nightwing is also your character.
  • Nest Buffs+ — Nest damage is increased by 150% and the healing effect is increased by 100%.

Momentum Abilities:

  • Dart Storm — Shoots multiple darts, damaging enemies and lowering their Elemental Effect resistance.
  • Nest — Creates a Nest around himself and any allies, granting a large defense bonus and healing over time. The Nest also inflicts damage over time to any enemies that step inside of it.

Red Hood

Red Hood provides the muscle in Gotham Knights, and his firepower helps plenty along the way. If you’re looking for a brawler, he’s the character you want. Other notable skills and momentum abilities include the following.

Skills:

  • Unrestricted Fire — After using Two-Fisted Reload, Red Hood can shoot unlimited rounds for a short period of time.
  • Quickfire Expert — The Critical chance and Critical damage of Red Hood’s Ranged Attack combo is increased by 15%.

Momentum Abilities:

  • Mystical Rounds — Locks onto enemies and shoots a Mystical Round that will hit all targets, causing massive damage.
  • Barrage — Shoots multiple rounds straight ahead, hitting all enemies in his path. Ammo is reloaded.

Robin

When it comes to Robin, it’s all about stealth. If you’re looking to sneak your way through Gotham City, Robin is the character to choose. Aside from that, these skills and momentum abilities are also quite handy.

Skills:

  • Shadow Renewal — Takedowns restore 25% of Robin’s health.
  • Vantage Hanging Takedown (Mine) — Performs takedown and plants Proximity Mine to lure enemies.

Momentum Abilities:

  • Ariel Attack Smoke — Aerial attacks are followed by a small cloud of smoke, enabling Robin to re-enter stealth.
  • Microbots — Unleashes 3 swarms of microbots that latch onto nearby enemies, dealing small amounts of Incendiary damage followed by an explosion.

And that’s all, folks, the best skills and attacks for every character in Gotham Knights. This is all subjective, of course.
