Genshin Impact 3.1 is approaching quickly, and it’s set to bring a brand new character called Cyno to the table. Cyno, also known as General Mahamatra, is an upcoming 5-Star Electro character who has never been seen before in the world of Tevyat. During the 3.1 preview Livestream, HoYoverse announced the name of voice actors portraying the role of Cyno in the forthcoming update. In the most recent Genshin Impact trailer, the game devs revealed that Cyno’s English and Japanese role is portrayed by Alejandro Saab and Ryouka Yuzuki, respectively.
Alejandro Saab – Cyno (English)
US-based voice actor, Alejandro Saab, has lent his voice to the Cyno character in Genshin Impact. The artist was born in 1994 and Tamotsu Denkigai in Akiba’s Trip: The Animation, Kazuki Yasaka in Sarazanmai, and Tatsuya Shiba in The Irregular at Magic High School are some of his well-known roles. Apart from this, Alejandro also runs a YouTube channel ‘KaggyFilms’ where he uploads reaction videos and posts anime-related content.
Irino Miyu – Cyno (Japanese)
Born in 1988, Irino Miyu is a Japanese voice actor well-known for his roles like Sora in Kingdom Hearts, Yagura in Yagura, Eight in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and many more. The artist debuted in the voice-over industry in 1996, where he played the role of Sho in You’re Under Arrest.
Later on, he worked in countless movies, anime shows, and video games, including Haku in Spirited Away, Yuichiro Hyakuya in Seraph of the End, Kōshi Sugawara in Haikyu!!, Jinta “Jintan” Yadomi in Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, Nuts in Yes! PreCure 5 and so on.
