A new Fortnite season means the game’s possible weapon pool gets a little bit of a freshening up. While Chapter 3 Season 4 isn’t live yet, we do have word on which weapons are or aren’t returning when the servers come back up. Here are all vaulted, unvaulted, and new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.
New, Vaulted, & Unvaulted Chapter 3 Season 4 Weapons
At the beginning of each new season of Fortnite, Epic Games adjusts the weapons available. Some news weapons are introduced, while others are ‘Vaulted,’ meaning they’re removed from the pool of weapons but could return in a future season.
Finally, you have ‘Unvaulted’ weapons which are those returning for the new season from the game’s previous seasons. These sometimes have had balance adjustments since their list appearance in the game, too.
New Weapons
Thanks to dataminer iFireMonkey, we have some early information on brand new weapons you’ll be able to use in Chapter 3 Season 4.
There are two new weapons called ExoChrome. They raise in rarity as you deal damage with them, meaning enough damage dealt could turn them into Mythic rarity.
The weapons themselves are:
- ExoChrome Shotgun
- ExoChrome Burst Rifle.
Vaulted Weapons
There is a good handful of weapons that won’t be immediately returning for Chapter 3 Season 4. We’re going to be down to only one pistol at the start of the new season.
Those vaulted weapons are:
- Charge SMG
- Striker Pump Shotgun
- Two-Shot Shotgun
- Stinger SMG
- Heavy Sniper Rifle
- Revolver
Unvaulted Weapons
We’ll be getting a few weapons out of the vault this season, thankfully. The interesting thing is that two of these haven’t been seen in Chapter 3 yet. However, these will be the only snipers or shotguns that can be found in the loot pool. We saw the Suppressed Submachine Gun in the game only a couple of weeks ago during the Shadow of Phantasm Week.
The unvaulted weapons are:
- Lever Action Shotgun
- Rapid Fire SMG
- Suppressed Submachine Gun
- Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper
