Who Is the Crabfeeder in House of the Dragon? Answered

According to the Game of Thrones lore, the Crabfeeder, also known as Craghas Drahar, is a Myrish prince who serves the Triarchy, an alliance of the Free Cities: Lys, Myr, and Tyrosh. He earned his name “Crabfeeder” by brutally staking pirates on beaches while getting eaten by crabs and drowning in the tide.

Craghas’ primary mission is to conquer Stepstones, as shown in House of the Dragon, and was initially met with praise from the Seven Kingdoms since he drove out many outlaws from the area. However, as time passed, Crabfeeder and his army became greedy with the toll currency, causing Lord Corlys Velaryon to ask Daemon Targaryen to stop Crabfeeder’s corruption.

Many trades in the Narrow Sea proved profitable for House Velaryon, but Craghas Drahar’s outrageous prices negatively affected business. As a result, an all-out war for Stepstones begins in 106 AC (After the Conquest).

Once House of the Dragon Episode 3 releases, Crabfeeder’s army will undoubtedly be tested when they face the wrath of Daemon and Corlys’ forces, especially with the fiery powers of the dragons at their side.

Does the Crabfeeder Have Greyscale?

The prince-admiral also wears a distinct mask because he suffers from the fatal disease, Greyscale, that has spread to his face. This illness has plagued many characters of the Game of Thrones franchise, including Jorah Mormont, Shireen Baratheon, and many others.
