Curious as to when Star Wars: Andor releases for Disney+? Well, wonder no more, as we’ve got all the info you need regarding the newest television series coming to the sci-fi universe right here. So without further ado, let’s dive right into the guide.
Star Wars: Andor Release Date
In a brand new teaser trailer for the show, which you can see above, Disney+ revealed that Star Wars: Andor will begin streaming on Aug. 31, 2022. Unfortunately, a recent development has revealed that the show’s debut has been delayed until Sept. 21, 2022 with the first three episodes – subsequent chapters will feature one release a week.
According to Deadline, Star Wars: Andor is already confirmed for two 12-episode seasons, making for a total of 24 episodes confirmed so far.
Andor is expanding its initial first season 12-episode run to 24 episodes with an unsurprising second season. Showrunner Tony Gilroy said today that the series will be back in front on the cameras in November for a Part 2. “We’re going to rewind 5 years back from Rogue One, Gilmore told fans onstage Thursday. “We’ve already shot 12 episodes!”
There isn’t a confirmation as to the runtime of each episode, but if it follows The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, then each could run anywhere from 20 mins to 1 hour.
