How to Get Energy Drink Cans in Stray

To get yourself some valuable energy drink cans in Stray, simply head to the various vending machines that can be found throughout The Slums. Interacting with these machines will net you an energy drink can, which is always good to have.

Do keep in mind that not every vending machine has an Energy Drink up for grabs. The ones that do will be lit up, indicating they are functional.

From your starting position next to the guardian and facing away from the garage door, head to the left and you will find the first vending machine that has its lights on.

Interact with it and it will spit out your first energy drink can.

The second vending machine can be found near the bar. From the bar’s entrance, look to the left, and you will find a fenced-off area between two buildings. Using your feline abilities, you will be able to jump over the fence.

Once you have done that, look to the left, and use the wooden beams to reach the vending machine for your second energy drink can. Alternatively, you can approach using the rooftops.

From the second vending machine, jump down and continue in the small alley, then take the next two rights and up the short staircase. This is where you will find the third vending machine, which happens to be beside the “RIP HUMANS” grafitti.

Interact with it, and you will have your third energy drink can.

The last vending machine is on the rooftops, and can be accessed easily from the Laundromat rooftop. From the area where the robots are tossing the paint cans, turn around and spot a rooftop with a set of string lights. Below to the left, you will find this final vending machine.

Pick up your fourth energy drink can here and you are done with collecting these items in The Slums.

What Energy Drink Cans Are For

With energy drink cans in your possession, you’re able to purchase or exchange items with other robots. By exchanging the cans with merchants such as the Barter Man, you’ll be able to gain important quest items that are being sold, such as the Electric Cable, or other miscellaneous items that can be bought for other collectible achievements.
