Sea of Thieves Season 7 (Captains of Adventure) Release Date

Sea of Thieves Season 7 is set to launch on July 21, 2022. The new Captains of Adventure update will introduce the Captaincy system, as suggested by the title itself. Players will get to become proper Captains of their own ship, and this will unlock a whole slew of new customization options and other activities to engage in.

It’s important to note that the Captaincy update is mostly cosmetic, as Sea of Thieves continues to follow its ethos of allowing all new players to jump into the game at any time. Since launch, the game has not implemented any kind of stats or gear that may give longtime players a distinct combat advantage over new players.

Along with customization options, this update will also allow players to save their favorite ship loadouts, and even decorate their personal cabins with loot and treasures obtained from past excursions.

That’s all you need to know about when Sea of Thieves Season 7 (Captains of Adventure) is set to release. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more news and information on the game, including our launch review as well as the rest of our Xbox coverage.
