Perilous Trail Event Gameplay Details
The primary objective of the Perilous Trail event is to investigate the mysteries of the depths in The Chasm. To begin, interact with a mysterious wooden board in a specific place to visit the Realms of Guile and War and take part in the combat challenge.
Each Realm of Guile and War has three challenge difficulties, and your goal is to defeat opponents continuously. Finishing three challenges will result in the completion of one combat round. The progress will automatically be saved into the game when each combat round ends.
But as we’ve mentioned earlier, you will need to conquer the battles continuously. In case you lose the mid or final battle, you’ll be asked to embark on the first battle of the last combat round you were at. Completing each challenge will grant a certain number of Stratagem Shards which can be further used to adjust the party setup. As per the game rules, each party can have a maximum of four characters that need to be selected before the combat round begins.
However, that’s not all for the Stratagem Shards. You can equip a maximum of three Stratagems per combat round that will provide buffs in battles. After each combat round concludes, five Stratagems will be randomly shortlisted for the next round. You may consume those to redraw Stratagems or select a previous profile.
Before heading to the next section, it’s worth noting that completing higher difficulty challenges will allow you to collect the corresponding rewards along with rewards featured at lower levels.
Event Rewards
You can earn the event exclusive weapon Fading Twilight (Bow) and its refinement material, Moonlit Cragstone, Primogems, Weapon Ascension Materials, Mora, and other rewards by completing challenges in the Realms of Guile and War.
If you’ve carefully read the list of rewards, you’d have noticed an unusual currency called Moonlit Cragstone. Following the release of Genshin Impact 2.7, HoYoverse has incorporated a new event shop through which you can exchange Moonlit Cragstone for the following rewards:
- Event-Exclusive Weapon Refinement Material
- Crown of Insight
- Weapon Ascension Materials
- Talent Level Up Materials
- Mystic Enhancement Ore
- Hero’s Wit
- Mora
