How & Where to Get Hand of Malenia in Elden Ring

We’re sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but one of the first things you’ll have to do is defeat the most challenging boss in the entire game: Malenia Blade of Miquella. She’s a particularly tricky foe as she can heal herself as she deals damage to her opponents. With that out of the way, let’s get into it.

  1. Head to the Haligtree Roots Site of Grace.

  2. Go through the archway ahead and defeat the optional boss, Malenia Blade of Miquella.

  3. Once Malenia has been defeated head back to the Roundtable Hold.

  4. Speak with Enia and unlock the Hand of Malenia katana with the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess.

The Hand of Malenia is a super-strong katana that boasts the Waterfowl Dance unique skill, which delivers a flurry of rapid attacks that are similar to Malenia’s moveset when she fights you as a boss.

In addition, while the weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War, the Hand of Malenia does cause 50 points of Blood loss buildup with every strike, as well as scale effectively with both Dexterity and Strength.
