The Coded Sword is found in Leyndell, Royal Capital, which is one of the toughest locations in Elden Ring and isn’t available until you are quite a ways through the game. It should also be noted that visiting this area is only possible for a limited time.

That’s because after beating this area, you will be able to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants, and doing so will eventually lead you to a boss fight in Mountaintops that, once defeated, will change the world state if you continue through the next area, Farum Azula. Keep this in mind if you’re certain the Coded Sword is right for your build!

Now, moving on to finding the sword itself, follow these step-by-step instructions to get the Coded Sword (image credits 100% Guides):

  1. From the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace, proceed forward and descend two flights of stairs to the level below.

You can now jump down and head east toward an abandoned stable on the other side of the courtyard.

  3. After climbing on its roof, enter the building and proceed down the corridor to the door on the right side.

  4. Now you’ll find yourself in a room with a roundtable, which you will notice is a replica of the one in Roundtable Hold.

There is a passage on the left side from the Round-table with a door. Once you open the door, you’ll be in a room with a throne. The Coded Sword is located on the throne.how to get coded sword
