Ghostwire Tokyo: How to Summon a Tengu & Grapple to Top of Buildings

Scale the heights with ease using the Tengu.

One of the best things in Bethesda and Tango Gameworks’ Ghostwire Tokyo is being able to explore the city both on the ground and through the air. While the former is easily done, the latter requires more work in finding different methods to get up to the heights of buildings and structures. However, there is a better way of doing that, and it involves using the Tengu, here’s our useful guide on how to summon a Tengu in Ghostwire Tokyo and save yourself precious time.

The game already peppers the city with quite a healthy number of Tengus that players can grapple towards, but still, you are required to find specific spots even if they are a fair distance away from your original location.

Summoning a Tengu in Ghostwire Tokyo

To summon a Tengu, you’ll need to unlock a skill called Amenotori X.

Amenotori I is unlocked once you learn how to grapple to the Tengu, but the improved version of the skill allows players to summon a Tengu at any compatible spot and grapple up instantly.

To unlock Amenotori, you will need to accrue seven Magatama to get past the skill gate, before investing 45 skills points to actually unlock it.

After which, anytime you want to get up high, look for buildings with a flat edge to them, aim using the L2, and press X to grapple up and be on your way.
