How to Stun Opponents in Sifu:

  1. Parry specific moves.

If you get the timing right, you can parry quick attacks from enemies by pressing L1 at the precise moment of their attack. Not only will this interrupt their combo, but it will also leave them reeling momentarily.

  2. Hit/throw them against the environment.

Take full advantage of the environment when fighting, as you’ll be able to bash characters against walls and other surfaces that will either stagger or stun them.

  3. Sweep the leg or eye strike.

By pressing up, down, Y/triangle to execute a leg sweep that will knock opponents off their feet. You can also execute this move within focus by unlocking the ability in the skills menu and selecting it by holding L2 (when you have enough focus built up). Eye Strike focus stun is also available immediately, but will not ground your opponents. sifu stun opponents

  4. Deplete their health to the point where a takedown pops up.

A lot of fights in Sifu will end with a takedown, which pops up when your enemy’s health is almost entirely depleted. When this occurs, your opponent will be stunned for a little.
