How to Sprint & Run Faster in Horizon Forbidden West

Naturally, Aloy moves at a decent enough pace. However, if you want to truly cover the distance on foot, you will definitely need to be sprinting. It does not only help you to get to your destination quicker, but is also very useful if you are trying to avoid enemy attacks or finding a better position to engage once more.

  1. Start by moving in any direction

  2. Click in on left analog stick/L3 to start sprinting

If you’d rather not have to deal with clicking in the analog stick, head to the menus and under the Accessibility tab, there is an option that you can tweak to ensure that Aloy is always sprinting in the game. This will save you some precious seconds and always keep you moving fast.
