Faction Facilities are your ticket to assigning territory to one of two different factions in Techland’s latest open-world RPG, and they fall into two different categories: Electrical Stations and Water Towers. Here we’ll be explaining the Garrison Electrical Station puzzle solution for Dying Light 2, which features a flooded underground section that might prove tricky for some.
The Garrison Electrical Station may be one of the first you bring back online that isn’t part of a story quest in Dying Light 2, and it’s likely a step up in difficulty from the puzzles you have solved so far. Still, it’s not too tricky if you understand the order you’re supposed to attach each cable.
Garrison Electrical Station Puzzle Solution For Dying Light 2
Time needed: 10 minutes
- Entering the facility is easy enough: simply detach and plug in the A/B power outlet to the generators right in front of you to open both doors. This is the gist of how you’ll bring the station back online, but it obviously gets a little more complicated.
- Once inside you’ll quickly find the power outlet named ‘1.’ and you’ll notice it’s easy enough to power up the generator of the same number. This isn’t what you want to do first, though. The key is that ‘1’ also has ‘C’ written on it, which is your clue to accessing the second generator you need to bring online upstairs.
- Grab the cable and haul it up to the generator on the first floor labeled C. This will then allow you to open the door of the generator above labeled 2, which in turn you can detach and then jump down to the flooded, underground level where the corresponding generator is. Beware, though, once you bring this online the water is charged with electricity. Use the vent on the wall behind you to crawl through and to the left, then you can jump across the floating boxes to safety.
- From there, it’s just a case of taking the elevator up to the control room and bringing the Electrical Station back online. You will have a chance to assign it to either Peacekeepers or Survivors (read more about city alignment here).
