Endwalker is the latest expansion that’s just been released for Final Fantasy XIV, and it comes with tons of new content for players to sink hundreds of hours into. The new MSQ will take a considerable amount of time, and after that you’ll spend even more time on the post-game activities and raids. Here’s how to get and use Discal Tomestones in FFXIV Endwalker.
First things first, Discal Tomestones are an end game material, which means that you’ll first need to have completed the Endwalker MSQ and have your character at level 90 with a combat class. The Tomestones themselves are also obtained through the Pandaemonium raids, and we’ve got a guide here to help you get started on that set of quests if you need help.
Getting Discal Tomestones in FFXIV Endwalker
To obtain a Discal Tomestone, you’ll need to turn in seven Unsung Blades of Asphedelos, which are earned by completing Asphedelos: The Fourth Circle, which is the fourth raid in the first set of Pandaemonium raids that have just been released.
You’ll unlock the Fourth Circle after completing the first three raids, and you can get one Unsung Blade of Asphedelos each week, which means that you need a total of seven weeks before you can exchange them for one Tomestone. You’ll be able to gain more Unsung Blades at a faster pace later on, as more patches get released and the raids become easier to clear, but for now, you’re stuck at one per week.
Once you have enough Unsung Blades, head to Radz-at-Han and speak with Djole at X:10, Y:9.5. You’ll be able to turn in your Blades for one Discal Tomestone.
How to Use Discal Tomestones
Discal Tomestones are used to obtain even more powerful weapons for each individual class in FFXIV. Once you have one Tomestone, you can speak to Djole again to exchange it for a weapon in the class of your choice.
Of course, if you want to level up multiple classes, you’ll need to farm the Unsung Blades again to get another Tomestone and repeat the process.
That’s all you need to know about how to get and use Discal Tomestones in FFXIV Endwalker. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
