How to Change MyCareer Affiliation in NBA 2K22

First off, there are four different affiliations that you can join in The City: Beasts of the East, North Side Knights, South City Vipers, and Western Wildcats. You’ll automatically join one of the four when you first start MyCareer mode.

If you’re not happy with the group that you’ve been placed in, you’re able to switch at any time. The catch is that you’ll lose all progress that you’ve made with your current affiliation. this means that your Rep will return to Pro 1 level, so think carefully before switching.

Go to City Hall

To change affiliations, head over to the City Hall of the faction that you want to join. They will all be marked clearly on your map. Speak to the guards there and select Affiliation Transfer Request. The City Halls should have two guards that look like the ones in the image below.

The game will transfer you and you’ll be able to roam around The City as part of your new faction while accessing their affiliation-themed courts.
