While you may be tasked with simply killing the various Visionaries around Black Reef island in Deathloop, you’ll want to execute them in style whenever you can. What cooler way to kill your key targets (or any enemy, for that matter) than by dual-wielding weapons? The answer is none, of course. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to dual-wield weapons in Deathloop, so you can feel like the badass you deserve to be.
Dual-Wielding Weapons in Deathloop
First off, it’s worth noting that while Colt can use weapons in both hands, you’ll lose the ability to aim down sights when doing so.
When holding a one-handed firearm or the machete in your right hand, press right on the d-pad to equip a one-handed firearm in your left. Press right on the d-pad again to cycle through available off-hand weapons.
Alternatively, hold right on the d-pad to summon the off-hand wheel, and select the desired weapon with the right analog stick. Then, all you need to do is simply release right on the d-pad to equip the selected weapon.
It’s also worth noting that this can only be done after completing the opening tutorial section. You’ll know when you’ve unlocked the ability to do so, as the game will make it abundantly clear that you can.
All Weapons You Can Dual-Wield
Out of the 13 (including the machete) weapons in Deathloop, there are six that you can dual-wield. Keep in mind that each of these weapons can be wielded with one another.
- LIMP-10
- Rapier
- PT-6 ‘Spiker’
- Tribunal
- The Fourpounder
- Strelak Verso
That’s everything you need to know on how to dual-wield in Deathloop. For more tips, tricks, and guides, head over to our wiki, or see more of our coverage on the game below.
