Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was already a huge game even before Ubisoft added the beautiful country of Ireland for the game’s first major content expansion, Wrath of the Druids. Now, it’s just got even bigger as the second expansion takes Eivor south to the kingdom of Francia as he attempts to pacify King Charles the Fat. But just how much more territory has this added to the game? Well, here we’re going to detail how big Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris’ map size is.
How Big Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris Map Size Is
The odd shape of The Siege of Paris’ map makes our usual measurement technique a little tricky, but we can certainly get a rough estimate that offers us enough data to compare it to other regions of the game.
As you can see above, at its widest point Paris is just over 4 km, or 2.5 miles, while its north to south distance is just over 3 km or around 1.8 miles. If the map fit nicely into a rectangle, the total area would be around 5 miles2.
Of course, the map doesn’t take up anywhere close to that. Most of our imaginary rectangle isn’t part of the map, and so we have to make an educated guess as to how much playable landmass is inside the rectangle. To me, it looks like around 60%, making the playable landmass of Siege of Paris around 3 miles2.
If you’re wondering how its size compares to different sections of the main game, England was roughly 40mi2, making Paris around 7.5% of the size of the main game. If you played Wrath of the Druids and remember Ireland, that area was just over twice the size at 7miles2. You can refer to our detailed article on the sizes of all Valhalla areas here.
