Mario Golf: Super Rush’s download size weighs in at 2.8 GB. This has been confirmed both by players who have preloaded the game digitally ahead of its official release. The official Nintendo UK store page also lists this as the download size of the game, which is smaller than the previously rumored 5 GB download size for the game.

It’s worth noting that if you’re buying a physical copy of Super Rush, the game’s install size will be even smaller than if you download the game digitally from the Nintendo eShop. This is because your Switch will simply read the data off the physical cartridge, rather than having to download all of the game files onto your internal storage.

How to Free Space on Your Nintendo Switch

If you need to free up some space before installing Mario Golf: Super Rush, simply head over to the Settings option on your Switch’s home screen and then go to Data Management.

Next go to ‘Software’ and you’ll see a list of games installed on both your Internal Storage and any microSD card you have inserted. Simply select the game you’d like to remove, press A, and then select the ‘Delete Software’ option.
