Biomutant Jagni or Myriad Tribe: Which Should You Side With?

Biomutant’s branching dialog choices tie into the game’s tribal system during the early moments of your adventure, tasking with pledging allegiance to one of two different factions that each have a very different outlook on the world. Here we’ll explain whether you should side with the Jagni or Myriad tribe in Biomutant in case you’re stumped.

Jagni or Myriad Biomutant Tribe: Which Should You Side With? Answered

Which tribe you pledge to in Biomutant boils down to which Aura you’re intent on following throughout the game, and whether you have intentions to either save to Tree of Life or destroy it later in the game. The Myriad and Jagni tribes each represent these two polar opposite philosophies.

The Myriad tribe is for those who wish to pursue a maximum light playthrough and want to save the Tree of Life. They are intent on uniting the tribes of the world and working together for a better future.

The Jagni tribe, meanwhile, are best suited to those who prefer a pure darkness playthrough, beating the other tribes into submission and destroying the Tree of Life.

However, it should be noted that while this initial decision as to which one you want to side with certainly starts your journey down one particular path (light/darkness), it isn’t irreversible.

In fact, it honestly has very little consequence: you can still change your Aura later in the game by performing different actions, and you can decide to change your allegiances later on if you change your mind about wanting to unite the tribes and/or save the Tree of Life.

Also, if you like the idea of warring with different tribes and sieging outposts and forts but do want to opt for a maximum light playthrough, fear not: you’ll still get to do all of that with the Myriad tribe. It’s just that you’ll have the option to unite the tribes and end the war, too (assuming you consistently opt for light choices).

You’re best to think of this first decision as nothing more than an introduction to the tribe system itself. You won’t be shoehorned into a certain direction whichever one you choose, so go with your gut.

That does it for whether you should side with the Jagni or Myriad tribe in Biomutant. For more useful tips and tricks for the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki. Otherwise, you should see some related content below that may prove helpful.
