Nier Replicant ver.1.22 is finally available on PC and consoles, allowing both longtime fans and series newcomers alike to re-experience the predecessor to Nier: Automata with updated graphics and new content. The existing content from the original release is still intact, however, which means that you’ll still have to go through the Forest of Myth eventually and correctly answer some riddles. In the second half of the game, you’ll be tasked with heading back to the Forest of Myth yet again to get a Lost Fragment. However, this time around, the divine tree will present you with another visual novel-like dream sequence where you have to answer a few riddles in order to progress.
What the Color of Lost Envy Is in Nier Replicant
The first question that you’ll be asked is what the color of lost envy is. This answer can actually change between playthroughs, but if you know which keywords to look out for, you’ll always be able to answer correctly.
Make sure to read through the first story in the sequence, about the boy who falls sick, and whose only solace comes from a girl who visits him. The color of lost envy is the color of the girl’s eyes, so make sure to pay attention to that detail and don’t just skip through the text.
From our experience, the answer seems to be green most of the time, but it can change in subsequent playthroughs, so try not to skip through it when possible.
