As you head towards the end of the first half of the game, you’ll be tasked with venturing into the Forest of Myth to find out what’s going on there. When you speak with the mayor, you’ll enter a dreamlike visual novel state where you have to solve a few riddles in order to save the mayor.

While you can leave the Forest of Myth to continue the story at this point, there are still two NPCs stuck in the dream state. If you free both of them, you can talk to the mayor again for a pretty sweet reward.
For the female NPC’s dream, the solution is actually pretty straightforward. Whenever you’re asked to pick a direction, always try to pick north or east whenever possible. If both options are available to you, pick whichever option is at the top.
Finally, for the male NPC, there’s only one riddle you have to solve. The answer here is “Beta.“
Returning to the Forest of Myth
