If you’ve played Valheim for any length of time then you’ll know that having a steady supply of resources is crucial for crafting and building your Viking camp. But when it comes to trees, are you able to cultivate them to avoid having to travel to far-flung locations to chop them down? Here’s what you need to know about whether you can get Birch Seeds in Valheim.
Can You Get Birch Seeds in Valheim? Answered
While you’re able to cultivate and farm certain plants, Birch trees sadly aren’t one of them. Only Beech Trees are able to be planted and cultivated.
Of course, there are Ancient Seeds, too, but those are actually used to summon a boss rather than plant a tree.
Given that Valheim is still in Early Access, it’s certainly not beyond the realm of possibility that farming trees using tree seeds wouldn’t be added to the game. For now, though, you’re stuck with having to travel to and from wooded areas in order to get your Wood, Fine Wood, and Core Wood.
Just remember that the next time you decided to set up a camp somewhere, it’s important to ensure there’s a steady supply of all the different types of wood nearby.
