Apex Legends: How to Open Caustic’s Secret Treatment Room

The new Chaos Theory Collection Event update added another section to the Kings Canyon map in an update earlier this week. Caustic’s Town Takeover occupies the new area, and it’s hiding a few secrets and new features. Here’s how to open Caustic’s secret treatment room in Apex Legends.

How to Open Caustic’s Secret Treatment Room in Apex Legends

Before you even start up a match, it’s important to choose the correct Legend if you want to get into Caustic’s secret room. Only Wattson or Caustic himself will be able to open the door to the room, so be sure to have at least one of them on your squad when you drop.

The most obvious step in this process is diving into the Caustic Town Takeover area. It’s located where Water treatment used to be.

Dive toward the back of the area, near the airship landing pads seen at the bottom of the image above.

Enter the Vent

There are two vents along the back walls of the Takeover area. They are right on top of the painted yellow strip that runs across the exterior of the building. You can see the vent on the crosshairs in the image above.

Climb inside either of the vents, and they’ll eventually take you to one of two locked doors leading to the same room. The words “Observation Platform” are written next to both doors.

Unlock the Door

Using either Wattson or Caustic, open the door to find a secret room full of lore-related info. However, it’s important to note that the doors will remain open for anyone and everyone once they’re opened.

This means that any team can ambush you if you’re not careful. The room is small, so that would be the worst possible outcome.

Use the Computer

Once inside, walk up to the largest computer in the room to hear a voice message from Caustic. He talks about his gas, his experiments, and Wattson, so you won’t want to miss this if you’re interested in the game’s lore.
