Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest open-world video game release from the developers of The Witcher 3. The game puts you in control of a character named V, who’s a mercenary in Night City tasked with taking on odd jobs and getting caught up in corporate espionage. Here’s how to craft items and weapons in Cyberpunk 2077.
Craft Items and Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 actually features a pretty in-depth crafting system that can be very lucrative if you invest into it. You can craft items and weapons just by going to your character menu by pressing the touchpad on PS4 or the View button on the Xbox One.
From there, head over to the Crafting tab, and you’ll see a full list of all the items you can craft right now. You can also filter the list according to categories, such as ranged weapons, melee weapons, and healing items.
Hover over the item you want to craft, then press and hold the X or A button on the Craft option to confirm your selection.
One thing to note is that there are different tiers of rarities for your crafted items and when you first get started, you’ll only be able to craft Common or Uncommon items. You can increase your crafting rarity by leveling up your Technical Ability stat and investing perk points into the crafting skill tree.
In addition to that, investing in your crafting stat in Cyberpunk 2077 can also make your crafted items more effective than the ones you find on the field, and they can also be worth more when you sell them.
Of course, you’ll also need to gather crafting components in order to craft your items and weapons. You can get components by picking up junk that you find in the open-world and dismantling them. You can also purchase a perk that lets you automatically dismantle junk items in Cyberpunk 2077.
You can also dismantle your older items and weapons for crafting components, which can then be put towards creating new items. From your inventory menu, hover over the item you want to dismantle, then press and hold the triangle or Y button.
That’s all you need to know about how to craft items and weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
