Watch Dogs Legion: How to Remove Operatives & Potential Recruits

Watch Dogs Legion has just been released for PC and consoles, and it’s the third main entry in Ubisoft’s open world sci-fi series. In this game, players will be able to recruit virtually any NPC they encounter in the open world, and play as them for the entirety of the story while making use of their abilities. However, you might reach a point where you’ll consider dismissing them from your roster. Here’s how to remove operatives and potential recruits in Watch Dogs Legion.

Removing Operatives and Potential Recruits in Watch Dogs Legion

Considering the fact that the max team size in Watch Dogs Legion is 45, you may eventually have to make space on your roster for other more skilled operatives that would be far more useful to you. Thankfully, there is a way to clear space for newer members.

Bring up your menu by pressing the touchpad on PS4 or the View button on Xbox One, then go to the Team tab. Highlight the operative you want to remove and select to edit them, then press the square or X button to retire that operative. Confirm your selection, and they’ll be removed from your roster.

Similarly for potential recruits, select the one you want to remove, then choose the option to abandon the recruitment mission. Potential recruits will also take up roster slots so if you decide that you don’t want them on your team anymore, you’ll need to abandon the recruitment mission to free up that slot.

One other thing worth noting is that even after you remove operatives and recruits from your roster, it’s still possible to get them back if you happen to find them again in the open world. They’ll be highlighted as a former operative if they were previously on your team, so you can always recruit them again if you change your mind later on.

That’s all you need to know about how to remove operatives and potential recruits in Watch Dogs Legion. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
