Miles Morales is a brand-new standalone sequel to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man that follows Miles as he works to save his neighborhood from some terrible villains. Like any other PlayStation game though, there are lots of trophies to collect. Here’s a guide on the Competitive Spirit trophy in Miles Morales so you can obtain that coveted Platinum trophy and show off to all of your friends.
Competitive Spirit Trophy in Miles Morales
In the second to last story mission in Miles Morales, you’ll end up at the Oscorp Science Center so that you can speak to Phin. Before you walk into the main exhibit, a flashback will occur and you’ll get to control a younger Miles as he and Phin look for their science project.
There are lots of little things to interact with within the space, but you need to head over to this huge, purple-colored rocket exhibit, which should not be hard to miss. As soon as you gain control of Miles, just walk to the left-hand side of the room.
Press triangle to interact with it and once you do, you just need to press the square button repeatedly so that you can beat Phin in a competition. It’s not too hard to beat her so don’t break your finger attempting to hardcore button-mash.
If you already beat the game and have missed this part, you can just replay the mission from the main menu and then going into the ‘Like Real Scientists’ story mission. You will have to fight some bad guys and solve a puzzle before getting into the science center though, but it should only take 5-10 minutes.
And that’s really all you need to know about how to get the Competitive Spirit trophy in Miles Morales on PS4 and PS5. If you need more tips and tricks like how to get the Best Fries in Town trophy or how to find Jefferson Davis’ grave, make sure to search Twinfinite or look down below.
