In Young Horses’ indie title, Bugsnax, you get to play as a journalist trying to figure out what the heck is going on on Snaktooth island while also attempting to catch creatures known as Bugsnax. These creatures are half-bug and half-snack, and 100% delicious. Since you probably would like to keep progress of all of the different types of critters you’re catching, here’s a guide on how to save your game in Bugsnax.
How to Save Your Game in Bugsnax
Saving your progress is easy peasy in Bugsnax because the game just saves your progress for you –how easier could it get?
When your game is being saved, you will see a small white circle pop up on the screen’s top-left corner. You can see how it looks in the image down below.
The game will save once you reach a checkpoint in Bugsnax, and these appear to be pretty frequent, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about losing lost progress if you, for some reason, shut off your console or quit out of the game before it saves.
If you messed something up and would like to restart from a prior save, you can open the menu and hit the Restart from Save option. This will bring you back to your last checkpoint and your current progress won’t be saved.
You can also create three other save files from the main menu if you have some friends or family that want to join you in all of the bugsnackin’ fun.
And lastly, if you ever need to delete a save file, just go to the main menu settings. From here, go to Game, and then you’ll see an option for Delete Save Data.
And that’s it! That’s all you need to know about how to save in Bugsnax. For more of our Bugsnax coverage, you can search Twinfinite or just look down below.
