Seeing the series head to England, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is all about Vikings. Somewhat replacing the ships you’ll have been used to in the likes of Black Flag, Eivor will have their own Longship to travel around on. So that you can stay safe and look good on the seas, here’s everything you need to know about how to customize and upgrade your longship in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
You can customize your longship in a few ways once you get access to it. You’re able to change the decorations on the front and back, maybe adding dragons and things like that, the ship’s shield color, and the color of your sails.
On top of that, you’re able to upgrade it so that it can store more and is more robust while on the seas.
How to Customize & Upgrade Your Longship in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Once you’ve completed the introductory segment, which takes place in Norway, you’ll get access to your longship as Eivor and the Vikings begin their travels to England, where most of the game takes place.
In England, you’ll soon be prompted to begin looking after a Settlement of your own, where you’re able to sell things and upgrade various merchants, including your Dockyard.
To get the ability to customize and upgrade your longship, you need to upgrade your Dockyard, which costs 600 Supplies and 45 Raw Materials, and then speak to the Ship Builder there.
Speaking to him after upgrading the Dockyard will open up the changes for you to make. You’ll now be able to make sure that your Longship is exactly to your liking.
But you’ll only have a limited numbers of choices initially. To get more, simply visit a merchant and purchase them.
