While this works the same as recruiting any other NPC, finding a video game designer is tricky. Successfully recruiting one will unlock Watch Dogs Legions’ Meta-Gaming trophy and achievement. How to Get Meta-Gaming Trophy & Achievement in Watch Dogs Legion
- Go to your ‘Team’ screen and frequently check the Potential Recruits section.
- Callum Davies is a video game designer that can be recruited in the Tower Hamlets borough of London.
- He can be found outside the Royal London Hospital, and will walk out of the building when you arrive at his location.
Speak with him to begin his recruitment mission.
- Access the Security Footage at The Old Barley Mill
Follow your waypoint to the quest objective. Climb the scaffolding on the outside of the building to reach the roof and access the CTOS hub.
- Erase the Security Footage
You’ll now need to go to Lambeth to erase the security footage to protect the witness’ identity. You can fast travel to the Stockwell tube station to cut down your travel time. Head to the eStrom building from here.
- Make Your Way Into the Server Room
Head into the parking lot area and look for the orange drainpipe to your right to climb up onto the roof. Beware of Albion guards on the roof along the way. Take the orange ladder up onto the very upper roof of the building, and then use the open window to get inside.
- Reach the ctOS Terminal in the Studio Design room to your right.
Use your spider drone to access the room through the little gap next to the door. Walk over to the terminal to interact with and erase the security footage.
- Survive Until the Erase is Complete
Once you begin erasing the footage, it’ll cause a bunch of Albion guards to start hunting you (and your drone) down. Stay close to the terminal, if your drone dies and you’re too far away, your erasing progress will be reset.
- Escape the Area and Get to Safety
Make your way out of the eStrom building, fighting through the Albion guards along the way. Once outside, drive away from the building and escape from the enemies in pursuit.
- You’ve successfully recruited a video game designer in Watch Dogs Legion.
After escaping safely, you’ll complete Callum’s recruitment mission. This will recruit the video game designer to your team in Watch Dogs Legion.
And with that, you should have Watch Dogs Legions’ Meta-Gaming trophy and achievement.
